COLOMBO (News 1st): All schools, pre-schools, and piriven institutions across the island will remain closed until Friday (Apr. 30).

This was confirmed by Cabinet Spokesperson Minister Keheliya Rambukkwella on Tuesday afternoon (Apr. 27).

Education Minister Professor G. L. Peiris in a video statement said a decision on re-opening schools will be made during the weekend with princicpals.
