All Government & Private events suspended for two weeks; PMD

COLOMBO (News 1st): All Government events scheduled for the next weeks will be suspended with immediate effect, said the President's Media Division.

In addition, all private events, meetings and parties will also be prohibited for the next two weeks, said the PMD. This measure was taken in order to control the spread of the coronavirus, it added.
