COLOMBO (News 1st): 19 people were arrested on Saturday (24) for failing to adhere to the quarantine rules and regulations.

“They were arrested for failing to wear face masks and maintain social distancing,” said Police Spokesperson DIG Ajith Rohana.

Since the 30th of October 2020 to-date, Sri Lanka Police arrested 3470 people for failing to wear face masks and maintain social distancing.
