 I love to eat chocolates from my school days," said Premalal Jayasekara – the Parliamentarian from the ruling Sri Lanka Podujana Party (SLPP) - who was convicted of murder to Parliament on Friday (23).

Jayasekera said he used to get Rs. 200/- everyday from his father during his school days and used to buy choclates from the money, and thus he was nicknamed CHOCA MALLI. Premalal Jayasekara – from the ruling Sri Lanka Podujana Party (SLPP) – was convicted in July 2020 of murdering an opposition activist after opening fire at an election rally in 2015 and was sentenced to death.
