Visitation privileges for prison inmates suspended

Colombo (News 1st); Visitation privileges for prison inmates were suspended for two weeks due to the prevailing COVID-19 pandemic situation, said the Department of Prisons.

A spokesperson said this measure was taken to prevent crowding at the prison premises and the decision to suspend visitation will come into effect from Saturday (24).
