(VIDEO) Scuffles between protestors and police in Colombo

Colombo (News 1st); Scuffles were reported between protestors and Sri Lanka Police during a demonstration organized by an Unemployed Graduates movement in Colombo on Thursday (22).

This demonstration was organized by the Joint Center for Unemployed Graduates citing several demands including that unemployed graduates be given opportunities in the annual program to provide employment. Following the melee, the protesting unemployed graduates moved to the agitation center located close to the Presidential Secretariat based on a request made by Sri Lanka Police.
