STF seized 1200 kg of illegally imported turmeric

The Police Special Task Force on Wednesday (07) arrested a 22-year-old male from Belummahara for the possession of 1200 kg of illegally imported turmeric. The suspect and the turmeric were handed over to the Ganemulla Police, said DIG Ajith Rohana. Investigations are carried out by the Ganemulla Police and the Police Special Task Force.
