Court extends order on Wimal preventing him from commenting on Rishad

Colombo (News 1st); The order issued on Minister Wimal Weerawansa preventing him from making false and malicious statements causing defamation to MP Rishad Bathiudeen was further extended to the 12th of April by the Colombo District Court.

The order was made when an application filed by Bathiudeen was called up in the presence of Colombo District Judge Aruna Aluthgamage. Rishad Bathiudeen filed an application with the court noting that the comments made by Wimal Weerawansa on the 09th of March had caused harm to his reputation.
