Colombo (News 1st); Sri Lanka’s Consumer Affairs Authority has decided to obtain samples from coconut oil available in the market under various brand names.
These samples will be obtained from across the Colombo District and will be tested to determine if they are carcinogenic.
Also, the CAA said it will conduct islandwide operations to nab errant traders during the upcoming festive season, noting that every single shop will be subject to inspection.
