COLOMBO (News 1st): Special traffic operations were launched for a month from today to arrest drivers under the influence of alcohol.
Speaking at a media briefing, Police Media Spokesperson DIG Ajith Rohana said sufficient Breathalyzers have been distributed among all police stations to identify and detect drunk drivers.
Operations are underway to arrest bus drivers who drive recklessly in excess speed, he further added.
