34 COVID cases from Colombo on Wednesday (10); 62 from Gampaha

Colombo (News 1st); A total of 342 COVID-19 cases were reported in Sri Lanka on Wednesday (10), reported the Department of Government Information.

295 of these cases were from the Peliyagoda Cluster and 05 cases were from the Prison Cluster. In addition, 42 returnees from overseas also tested positive for COVID-19 on Wednesday (10). According to the National Operations Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak (NOCPCO), 34 of Wednesday's cases were reported from the Colombo District, 62 from the Gampaha District, 39 from the Jaffna District and 32 from the Kalutara District. The other cases were from the Kandy, Kegalle, Galle, Ampara, Ratnapura, Kurunegala, Matara, Matale, Badulla, Mannar, Puttlam, Polonnaruwa, Kilinochchi, Anuradhapura, Moneragala and Vavuniya.
