Grant powers to AG : Bishops' Conference

COLOMBO (News1st): The Catholic Bishops' Conference has appealed for the Attorney General to be given full power and freedom to prosecute those responsible for the 2019 April 21st attacks. In a statement, the Catholic Bishops' Conference urged that the 22 sensitive documents withheld from the Attorney General be made available to him immediately. It welcomed the recommendations put forth by the Presidential Commission of Inquiry that probed the bombings and called on the government to implement them
