SJB concerned of contempt of court by PCoI report

Colombo (News 1st); 40 MPs from the Samagi Jana Balavegaya, including Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa signed a letter requesting the Chief Justice to inquire if the final recommendation of the Presidential Commission report on political victimization, had caused contempt of court.

The letter states that it was observed the final recommendation of the Presidential Commission report on political victimization had caused contempt of court & therefore, requested for legal action be taken against the Chairman and members of the Presidential Commission of Inquiry. The letter addressed to the Judges of the Supreme Court and the Chief Justice notes the recommendations of the Presidential Commission of Inquiry caused harm to natural justice.
