Price of coconuts to decline in the next 02 months

COLOMBO (News1st): The price of coconuts will decline within the next two months, the Ministry of Coconut Industries said. The production of coconut has declined, as a result of inadequate rainfall, Secretary to The Ministry of Coconut Industries, Tissa Hewavitharana said. The market price of a coconut currently stands at Rs. 100. The importation of coconut husks for the production of coconut oil began as well, Secretary to the Ministry of Coconut industries further said.
