Dahaiyagala forest destruction continues

COLOMBO(News1st): The illegal clearing of the Bogahapattiya forest in the Dahaiyagala reserve, which belongs to the Udawalawe National Park, has not ended yet. A group of civil society activists including the Secretary of the National Bhikku Front Ven. Wakamulle Uditha Thero visited the area today. It was observed that various groups have marked the boundaries of the reserve and even set up electric fences. Electric fences had also been erected inside the reserve.
