16-hour water cut in Colombo and several areas today (20)

COLOMBO (News 1st): The water supply to several areas in Colombo will be interrupted for 16-hours from 8.00 am to 12.00 midnight today (Feb. 20), the National Water Supply and Drainage Board (NWSDB) said. The water cut will be in effect in the Municipal Council areas of Colombo, Dehiwela-Mt Lavinia, Kotte and Kaduwela; Maharagama, Boralesgamuwa and Kolonnawa Urban Council areas; Kotikawaththa and Mulleriyawa Pradeshiya Sabha areas and Ratmalana. According to the Water Board, the water cut is due to essential maintenance on CEB Power supply line to Ambatale Treatment Plant Intake.
