AG directs IGP to take action on Madrasa Principal

COLOMBO (News 1st):  Attorney General Dappula De Livera directed the Inspector General of Police to report facts and produce the Principal of a Madrasa School identified as Mohamed Shakeel to a relevant Magistrate's Court. State Counsel Nishara Jayaratne, the coordinating officer to the Attorney General speaking to News 1st said Mohamed Shakeel is to be charged for abetting Attorney-at-Law Hejaaz Hizbullah on the charges under section 02 (1) (h) of the Prevention of Terrorism Act and section 03 (1) of the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights.
