All MPs to be vaccinated against COVID-19 starting today (16)

COLOMBO (News 1st): All Members of Parliament will be vaccinated against COVID-19 starting from Tuesday (Feb. 16), parliament officials said. The inoculation of MPs with India's AstraZeneca COVISHIELD vaccine will be conducted at the Military Hospital in Narahenpita, Sergeant-at-arms Narendra Fernando told News 1st on Tuesday (Feb. 16). Plans are in place to conduct the vaccination drive for four-days. The move comes following instructions issued by President Gotabaya Rajapaksa, to provide the COVID-19 vaccine to the general public starting from Monday (15).
