Estate workers launch island-wide trade union action

COLOMBO (News 1st): Estate workers will engage in an islandwide trade union action on Friday (Feb. 05) against the failure of authorities to increase their daily wage to Rs. 1000. According to our correspondent, estate workers islandwide will join the trade union action with other trade unions extending their support as well.
