Protest against Grade 05 Cut-Off Marks

Colombo (News 1st); Teacher Unions accompanied by several other factions staged a protest march Monday (01) from the Fort Railway Station to the Presidential Secretariat. Scuffles were reported when the protestors moved closer to the Presidential Secretariat as they were prevented from moving forward by Sri Lanka Police. The protestors were demanding a review of the Grade 05 Scholarship examination cut off marks, which they claim caused injustice to many students.
