500,000 DOSES OF INDIA'S COVISHIELD VACCINE TO SL TOMORROW (28)

COLOMBO (News 1st): A consignment of 500,000 doses of India's AstraZeneca COVISHIELD vaccine will arrive in Sri Lanka at 11:00 am on Thursday (Jan. 28), Principal Adviser to the President Lalith Weeratunga confirmed on Wednesday (Jan. 27). Weeratunga who heads the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19 Vaccination Plan and National Development told reporters in Colombo, that India's AstraZeneca COVISHIELD vaccine will be administered to 250,000 individuals.
