COLOMBO (News 1st): A protest against financial fraud committed by a group claiming to provide foreign employment was staged on Friday (22), News 1st correspondent reported.

The same group of individuals staged a protest on Friday (Jan. 08) over the failure of authorities to provide a solution even after a complaint was lodged with Sri Lanka Police.

According to our correspondent, the protest was staged yesterday (Jan. 22), against the failure to provide a solution to the issue, as promised.

Several representatives from the group of protestors later went to lodge a complaint with the Senior Deputy Inspector General of Police in-charge of the Western Province.
