Colombo (News 1st); The Ministry of Health will conduct a COVID-19 vaccination trial on Saturday (23) at three separate locations.

Deputy Director-General of Public Health Services Dr. Hemantha Herath speaking to reporters on Friday (22) said the trial will take place at the Piliyandala Regional Hospital and the Colombo North Teaching Hospital.

The trial will be used to identify any shortcomings and also to determine the number of jabs that can be given in a period of one hour as well as a day, he said.
