770 COVID-19 cases reported on Wednesday (20)

770 COVID-19 cases reported on Wednesday (20)

Colombo (News 1st);  770 COVID-19 cases were reported on Wednesday (20), said the Department of Government Information.

768 of these cases were from the Peliyagoda Cluster and the remaining two were returnees from overseas, one from Saudi Arabia and the other from Kuwait.

Accordingly, the total number of infected patients being treated stands at 7,698.

The total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases reported in Sri Lanka stands at 55,187.

The total number of COVID-19 fatalities in Sri Lanka rose to 274 on Wednesday (20) night, following the death of one COVID-19 patient.
