Gold deposit size in Seruwila "exaggerated"

COLOMBO (News1st): The size of a gold deposit in Seruwila has been "exaggerated", environment secretary Dr Anil Jasinghe said Tuesday. "Not just laymens but those who bear a thorough understanding of science exaggerate these matters as well," he told reporters. The environment secretary insisted that it is only the environment ministry that can notify the people about such discoveries.
