PRISON OFFICERS INTERDICTED OVER PRISONER RELEASE

Colombo (News 1st); Three prison officers have been interdicted for releasing a prisoner who is not entitled to be released.
Commissioner General of Prisons Thushara Upuldeniya speaking to News 1st said 02 Prison Jailors and a Prison Guard, all from the Welikada Prison were interdicted.
The prisoner who was released was arrested, he said.
