Colombo (News 1st); The opposition claims 18 Ukrainian women were among those who visited Sri Lanka as part of the pilot project of the government’s program to re-open for tourism.
SJB MP Hesha Vithanage said he would reveal details of the purpose of these women’s visit to Sri Lanka including their VISA details.
“Udayanga Weeratunga was seen making all the necessary arrangements for the tour group and his address is listed with the tourist board as Udayanga Weeratunga, Temple Trees, Colombo 02,” said the opposition lawmaker.
He claimed Weeratunga has the blessings of the President and the Prime Minister for this and questioned if the quarantine regulations do not apply to the Former Sri Lankan Ambassador to Russia.
