COVID-19 IS AIR-BORNE & NOT WATER-BORNE ; DR. SUDARSHINI

Colombo (News 1st); The Health Ministry must operate in accordance with scientific findings, said State Minister of Primary Health Care, Epidemics and COVID-19 Disease Control Dr. Sudarshini Fernandopulle on Monday (04).

She affirmed according to research bodies, COVID-19 is an air-borne virus and it does not spread via water bodies.

The Coronavirus cannot be eradicated in Sri Lanka as it did with measles and polio, she said adding the people must learn to live with COVID-19 in accordance with the guidelines given.
