SUSPECT ARRESTED WITH HEROIN IN AMBALANGODA

COLOMBO (News 1st): A suspect was arrested in Benwala, Ambalangoda along with 1 kilogram and 600 grams of Heroin, Sri Lanka Police said on Friday (Jan. 01). The suspect was arrested after his motorcycle was inspected, Police Spokesperson - DIG Ajith Rohana said. The suspect will be produced at the Balapitiya Magistrate's Court, and the Deputy Police Chief said an order will be sought from the court to detain the suspect for seven days.
