COLOMBO (News 1st): The printing of driver’s licenses will be handed over to Sri Lanka Army with effect from Friday (Jan. 01), the Department of Motor Traffic said.
The printing of driver’s licenses at the Werahera branch of the Motor Traffic Department was so far conducted by a private company, Sumith Alahakoon, the Commissioner General of Motor Traffic said on Friday (Jan. 01).
The transfer of printing services to the Sri Lanka Army will be made as per a Cabinet decision, Alahakoon further said.
