'THALWATTE KELUM' ARRESTED IN STF RAID

The STF said a US-made firearm similar to a revolver was seized from the possession of the suspect adding he was holding on to the weapon in order to hand it over to another faction.

The suspect was handed over to the Ragama Police for further investigation.

The Police Special Task Force said the suspect is a close relative of big-time heroin trafficker Wellambage Upul Sanjeewa alias 'Datha Sudha'.
