SUSPECT ARRESTED WITH PISTOL FROM SPAIN

COLOMBO (News 1st): Police Special Task Force on Tuesday (Dec. 29) arrested a 34-year-old suspect in Ahungalla, Balapitiya along with a pistol manufactured in Spain, Sri Lanka Police said.  Two magazines were also discovered in the possession of the suspect, Police Spokesperson - DIG Ajith Rohana said. Further investigations are underway to ascertain whether the suspect used the pistol to commit several crimes in the Southern province.
