All steps taken to prevent new COVID strain from entering Sri Lanka - Gen. Shavendra Silva

COLOMBO (News 1st): General Shavendra Silva assured the general public that all steps have been taken to prevent the new strain of the COVID-19 virus from entering Sri Lanka. He made these remarks while speaking to the media after paying homage to the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic. "The president yesterday advised us to look for the vaccine that is most suitable, for the country," he added. "The president has instructed us to purchase this vaccine at any cost and save the people of this country," General Shavendra Silva said.
