200,000 SELF-EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES BY 2021

COLOMBO (News 1st): The government has decided to create 200,000 self-employment opportunities by next years, Basil Rajapaksa, the Chairman of the Presidential Task Force in charge of Economic Revival and Poverty Eradication said on Sunday (Dec. 29). He made this statement during a discussion with Samurdhi Managers at the Temple Trees. The Samurdhi Managers and Samurdhi Development Officers will take lead in the process of directing Samurdhi beneficiaries to livelihoods under the Rural Economy Upliftment Program, Basil Rajapaksa further said. The discussion focused on Samurdhi Home Economics, Microfinance, Self-Employment, and Business Development.
