ADB approves loan to procure COVID-19 vaccines

COLOMBO(News 1st): The Asian Development Bank has approved a loan to Sri Lanka, to purchase approximately 25 million vaccines.
The Secretary to the Treasury confirmed that the relevant documentation for the granting of the first installment of USD 84 Million, has been exchanged between the Finance Ministry and the Asian Development Bank.
It was also noted that this loan facility can be extended up to USD 200 Million.
