Remains of three accident victims recovered in Mullaitivu

COLOMBO (News1st): The remains of three people who went missing after a double cab toppled over a lake in Mullaitivu had been recovered on Saturday evening, police said. The accident had occurred last afternoon claiming the lives of a 38-year old driver, his daughter aged two and a 12-year old neighbour - all residents of Selvapuram in Vavuniya. The remains of the deceased had been taken to the Mullaitivu District General Hospital after being recovered by divers during an operation last evening. The son of the driver, aged 12, had survived the accident.
