Water supply to several areas in Colombo to be suspended

COLOMBO(News 1st): The supply of water to several areas in Colombo will be suspended for 18 hours starting from 9:00 this morning, the National Water Supply and Drainage Board stated. Accordingly, the water supply will be suspended in Colombo 01, 02, 10, and 12 until 3.00 am tomorrow. Moreover, water will be supplied under low-pressure conditions to Colombo 03, 04, 07, 08, and 09. This is due to improvement work in the distribution pipeline under the Greater Colombo Water supply Improvement project and repair work of a transmission leak at Angoda, according to the Water Board.
