Total number of COVID-19 recoveries surpasses 25,000

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The total number of patients to have recovered from COVID-19 has increased to over 25,000. This is after another 785 patients recovered. The total number of recoveries has increased to 25,652, according to the Epidemiology Unit of the Ministry of Health. Meanwhile, 8312 patients remain infected with COVID-19 and continue to receive treatment at hospitals. 3 people were confirmed to have died from the virus, raising Sri Lanka's death toll to 157. The total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases reported in Sri Lanka now stands at 34,121.
