FORMER MP ABDULLAH MAHROOF REMANDED

COLOMBO (News 1st): Former Trincomalee District Member of Parliament, Abdullah Mohamed Mahroof and another arrested by CID for misusing Sathosa vehicles, were remanded until Thursday (Dec. 17). The Criminal Investigations Department on Tuesday (Dec. 15) arrested the Former Deputy Minister Abdullah Mohamed Mahroof and another identified as Farook Mohamed Aslam. Charges have been levelled against the suspects for the misuse of vehicles belonging to Lanka Sathosa from 2015 to 2019.
