CV-19 DEATH TOLL RISES TO 149

COLOMBO (News1st): Sri Lanka's COVID-19 death toll climbed up to 149 after two deaths were confirmed on Saturday. A 55-year old male resident of Colombo 15 was among the deceased, the reason for his death being pneumonia caused by the virus. He had been transferred to the Mulleriyawa Base Hospital from the Chest Hospital in Welisara, before passing away on Friday. The second deceased was a 66-year old male resident of Imbulgoda, who had passed away on Thursday. His cause of death has been identified as diabetes that had aggravated due to the infection and also pneumonia.
