Colombo (News 1st); Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa chaired a meeting with the health authorities on Thursday (10) in order to explore the possibility of burying those who died of COVID-19 infection.
During the meeting Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa instructed authorities to identify a dry plot of land with deep groundwater levels for burials of COVID-19 victims, Prime Minister’s office said in a statement.
Health Officials had told the Prime Minister, the virus remains in a dead body for almost 36 days.
