COLOMBO (News1st): The spread of COVID-19 may aggravate if the public movement is not restricted during this month's festive season, health officials have warned. The guidelines issued by authorities to combat the pandemic must be followed at all times, the health ministry's deputy director-general Dr. Hemantha Herath said. He cited the failure to abide by health directives as a cause for the emergence of the second wave of COVID-19 infections in the country.
