350 new COVID-19 cases confirmed so far today (03)

COLOMBO (News 1st): Another 350 new COVID-19 cases were confirmed so far on Thursday (Dec. 03), the Department of Government Information said. All the new cases are associates of the Peliyagoda COVID-19 cluster. Thereby, the total number of COVID-19 cases in the country has risen to 25,760. According to the Epidemiology Unit, Sri Lanka recorded its highest single-day spike in COVID-19 cases on Wednesday (Dec. 02), with 878 cases confirmed. Meanwhile, another 728 COVID-19 patients were discharged today (Dec. 03) following recovery taking the total number of recoveries in the country to 19,032. The COVID-19 death toll in the country stands at 124.
