Colombo (News 1st): Professor Upul Dissanayake, the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Peradeniya says, research is being conducted to develop antigen test kits to detect COVID-19.

” The progress on the research to develop an antigen test kit for COVID-19 has been a success for now. We are currently working on making this test kit an affordable and efficient one. Based on government requirements, around 400-500 tests could be conducted per day”, Professor Upul Dissanayake said.
