Trincomalee MC orders prohibition of Mahaviru commemoration

COLOMBO (News 1st): The Trincomalee Magistrate's Court upheld the submissions made by the Attorney General on 08 cases and ordered the prohibition of Mahaviru commemoration, confirmed State Counsel Nishara Jayaratne, the Coordinating Officer to the Attorney General. On Wednesday (Nov. 25) the Mullaithivu Magistrate's Court and the Jaffna Magistrate's Courts also issued orders preventing the Mahaviru Commemoration from taking place.
