COLOMBO (News 1st): More than 45,000 Sri Lankans have been repatriated since the COVID-19 outbreak, Army Commander – Lieutenant General Shavendra Silva, the Head of the National Operation Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak (NOCPCO) said.
“So far we have repatriated more than 45,000 from overseas. We will continue the repatriation process according to a schedule,” Lieutenant General Shavendra Silva told News 1st on Saturday (Nov. 21).
According to the Army Commander, a total of 470 passengers are scheduled to be brought back to the country today.
