03 COVID-19 deaths reported and Sri Lanka's COVID-19 death toll rises to 61

Colombo (News 1st);  03 COVID-19 deaths were reported on Monday (16) evening, raising Sri Lanka's death toll to 61, said the Department of Government Information.

The details of the victims are as follows :

01. An 84-year-old female from Moratuwa who had passed away at her residence. The cause of death was ruled as diabetes and COVID-19 infection.

02. A 70-year-old male from Colombo 10, who was identified as a COVID-19 patient and was treated at IDH, where he passed away. The cause of death was ruled as chronic kidney disease (CKD) and a stroke, with COVID-19 infection.

03. A 75-year-old male from Colombo 13 who was ruled dead upon admission to the Colombo National Hospital. The cause of death was ruled as diabetes and congestive heart condition exacerbated by COVID-19.
