Colombo (News 1st); There is no intention to re-impose the Quarantine Curfew for the Western Province again, hinted Senior DIG in-charge of the Western Province Deshabandu Tennakoon on Friday (06).
It is the responsibility of the people placed in quarantine to refrain from mingling with other members of society for a period of 14 days, he said.
Lifting the curfew does not mean the threat is over, he warned adding it is paramount to work towards preventing the spread of COVID-19.
He urged the general public to strictly comply with the guidelines issued by the health authorities when the curfew is lifted.
