Colombo (News 1st);  The Ministry of Industry has taken measures to provide necessary facilities to industrialists, given the current situation of the country.

The ministry has appointed three directors for this purpose and has introduced three direct telephone numbers to submit the issues faced by the industrialists.

Accordingly, the industrialists are provided the opportunity to submit their issues directly to them and seek immediate solutions.

Issues on Industries carried out within industrial zones – Director Vindika Piyarathna – 0713976406.

Issues of other industries not located in the Industrial Estate- Director Rasika Wijekoon- 0113158114.

Issues on import duties – Director Sithara Jayasena– 0770820775

Chulananda Perera, Secretary to the Ministry of Industries said these direct telephone numbers were introduced with the aim of providing immediate solutions to the issues faced by Industrialists Islandwide, in the current circumstances.
