70 arrested in 03 days for not wearing face-masks

Colombo (News 1st); Sri Lanka Police arrested 70 people from 30th October to-date for violating the Facemask & Social Distancing Concept in the country.
Police Spokesperson DIG Ajith Rohana said during the past 24 hours 09 people were arrested.
Charges will be filed against these individuals and when found guilty following prosecution, the suspects will be imposed a fine of Rs. 10,000/- and 06 months of rigorous imprisonment.
